Psalm 103:13 (NIV)
“As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.”
The perfect love of the Father is able to heal wounded hearts and restore broken spirits.
His love is powerful enough to fill the empty spaces left behind by loss.
The creative Author of life continues His story in my life through simple things that are profoundly beautiful.
A father is a figure of example for a child.
Through a father, a child learns to imitate, to grow, and to understand life itself.
As the familiar saying goes, “like father, like son.”
But what happens when the father figure is no longer there?
What becomes of the child’s life?
At first, I felt an overwhelming sense of loss.
It was as if a part of my life had disappeared—
like a puzzle missing one piece, leaving an empty space within.
Yet…
Day by day, I walked through life and began to experience the wonder of God’s love.
Slowly, His love filled the emptiness in my heart.
What was lost, I found again in Him.
Although I lost a playmate and a place to share my stories,
I am grateful that I never lost love itself.
For He, the Source of love, poured out His love to surround my life.
He teaches and guides me with hands that may be unseen,
yet His presence is deeply and clearly felt.
He gently rebuilt my wounded heart
and reshaped it with His tenderness.
The pain I carried after losing a father figure
slowly healed and was restored by His love,
a love that wrapped and soothed every wound.
Perhaps as you read this third story of mine,
you will find it filled with poetic expressions and hidden meanings.
This is simply my way of portraying
how creative and compassionate
the Author of life truly is.
May the Lord Jesus bless you.
